Katrina Kaif was born was July 16, 1983 in Hong Kong. Her father, Mohammad Kaif is a British businessman and mother, Suzanne is an English lawyer and charity worker. She is having three elder sisters; Stephanie, Christine, Natasha, three younger sisters, named Melissa, Sonia, and Isabel; and one elder brother named Michael.
Katrina Kaif and her siblings were raised by their mother Suzanne because their parents were divorced when she was a child and he then moved to United States. She stated that “When I see friends who have wonderful fathers who are like pillars of support for their families, I say, if only I had that. But instead of complaining, I should be grateful for all the other things I have”. In an interview with The Indian Express, she said she was not in touch with her father.
According to Katrina Kaif, her mother decided to dedicate her life to social causes for which the whole family relocates to a number of countries like from Hong Kong where she was born, to China, then to Japan, France, Switzerland, Poland, Belgium, then to Hawaii and then came to London. She also stated that I’m cutting out many East European countries where we were only for a few months each.
Katrina with her siblings were home-schooled due to their relocations. She lived only for three years in London and then moved to India. According to her, she changed her surname because she thought it would be easier to pronounce.
If we talk about her personal life so some rumors of a relationship with Indian film actor Salman Khan first came out in 2003. She spoke of that in 2010, calling that relation her first serious relationship. They are now friends and she gave all the credits to Salman Khan to give her confidence and guidance. The reason of their breakup which was reported was Katrina Kaif’s getting close to Indian film actor Ranbir kapoor during their film Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani. Katrina and Ranbir totally denied this.
Katrina Kaif’s father is a Muslim and mother is a Christian; The times of India in 2019 reported that she visits Siddhivinayak Temple, Mount Mary Church, and the Sufi shrine Ajmer Sharif Dargah before her films are released.
