Karachi: May 26, 2025 : Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Member of the National Assembly from the Pakistan Peoples Party, inaugurated the polio campaign launched by the Ministry of Health, Government of Pakistan, in his constituency NA-241, Bath Island, Clifton, South Karachi. During the campaign, he administered polio drops to children in the presence of their parents and urged the local residents to take responsibility by ensuring that all children from birth to five years of age receive polio drops and that they cooperate with the polio teams.
Party officials from the Pakistan Peoples Party also participated in the campaign alongside Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig. On this occasion, Dr. Baig inaugurated the Faisal Misri Polio Center in Bath Island, Clifton, and inspected the drainage and other development works carried out through MNA funds in the neighborhood. The local residents expressed their gratitude to him.
