KARACHI: Kuwait’s Consul General Muhammad Abdullah Al-Khalidi with the Kuwait Investment Company’s chairman called on Sindh Governor Imran Ismail.
During the meeting, the promotion of Pakistan-Kuwait bilateral diplomatic, social and economic relations as well as investment and other important matters were discussed in the detail, said a statement issued here on Thursday.
The Sindh Governor said Pak-Kuwait relations are decades old. He said these ties based on mutual respect are further strengthening with the passage of time.
Imran Ismail said Kuwait’s investors are investing in Pakistan, and especially providing employment opportunities by investing in different fields in the province.
He said Karachi, the commercial hub of the country, has become very attractive for investment after the restoration of peace and present conducive environment for investment.
He said the highly educated, hardworking and skilled youths are an ideal human resource for investment.
The Governor invited Kuwait’s investors to invest in different fields in the city and assured them of government’s full cooperation in this regard.
The Governor lauded the services of Kuwait’s Consul General for the promotion of Pak-Kuwait relations.
Kuwait’s Consul General said Kuwait wants to see Pakistan a prosperous and strong country.
