KATI lauds DC for making Korangi “polio free”

KARACHI – President of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry Saleem-uz-Zaman and CEO/Chairman KITE DMC Zubair Chhaya lauded the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Korangi, Shahryar Gul Memon for a successful polio drive in Korangi.
He mentioned that efforts of the DC are now converting into real results as the environmental samples of polio in Korangi were negative and this is a great development towards making the district “polio free”. He said that DC Mr.
Memon completed the polio vaccine drive in the district with comprehensive planning and also encouraged the polio workers by taking initiatives to motivate them.
He noted that efforts of DC Korangi for a national cause of eradication of polio should be acknowledged at every level. He also assured that KATI will continue its support for this greater cause at every possible level. Saleem-uz-Zaman also paid tribute to the polio workers for their great contribution and lauded them as national heroes.
