In a promising display of diplomatic collaboration, Dr. Deepak Kafle, Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Aviation of Nepal, and Abrar H Hashmi, Ambassador of Pakistan for Nepal, convened for a constructive meeting. The focus of their discussions revolved around bolstering bilateral exchanges in culture, tourism, and aviation sectors.

Acknowledging the historical foundation laid by previous agreements, notably the Culture Cooperation Agreement of 1970, Air Services Agreement of 1976, and Tourism Agreement of 2009, both parties expressed a shared commitment to build upon these frameworks. The aim is to foster deeper cultural understanding, promote tourism initiatives, and enhance aviation connectivity between Nepal and Pakistan.

The meeting served as a platform to explore avenues for mutual cooperation and exchange of expertise in the mentioned domains. By leveraging the existing agreements and exploring new opportunities, Nepal and Pakistan aspire to fortify their ties and unlock the full potential of their cultural, tourism, and aviation sectors. The proactive engagement between the Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Aviation of Nepal and the Pakistani diplomatic mission underscores the importance of sustained dialogue and collaboration in advancing bilateral relations. As both nations look ahead, such initiatives are poised to contribute significantly to the socio-economic growth and people-to-people interactions between Nepal and Pakistan.
