Investment Meeting: BOI Chairman Holds Talks With KATI on Industrial Growth

KARACHI, July 4: Investment Meeting discussions took place at the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), where Federal Minister and Chairman of the Board of Investment (BOI), Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, met industrialists and business leaders to discuss measures aimed at promoting investment and supporting industrial growth.

The meeting was held under the leadership of KATI Deputy Patron-in-Chief Mohammad Zubair Chhaya, President Mohammad Ikram Rajput and Vice President Syed Mohammad Talha Ali. Senior Vice President Zahid Hameed, members of KATI’s Executive Committee and leading industrialists also attended the session.

Participants discussed investment opportunities, challenges facing Pakistan’s industrial sector and ways to strengthen coordination between the government and the business community. The discussions focused on creating a more business-friendly environment to support sustainable industrial development.

Business leaders highlighted the need for policy reforms, improved ease of doing business and practical measures to attract greater domestic and foreign investment. They stressed that closer collaboration between policymakers and industry is essential to enhance economic activity and boost investor confidence.

Federal Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh exchanged views with participants on investment promotion and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to facilitating private sector growth through improved policies and stronger engagement with the business community.

The meeting concluded with KATI presenting a commemorative shield, an Ajrak and a traditional Sindhi Topi to the federal minister in recognition of his visit and continued engagement with the industrial sector.
