Indonesian CG launched housing pilot project developed by Dompet Dhuafa for the flood victims
Indonesian Consul General, Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat has visited Thata in interior Sindh (around 3 hours outside Karachi), to officially launched the pilot project of Indonesian housing dedicated to flood victims.
The housing project was initiated by Dompet Dhuafa, an Indonesian humanitarian NGO, that works together with Pakistani NGO, We CARE. According to Mr. Herdiansyah, the Field Manager of Dompet Dhuafa, the house is designed to be flexibly developed to meet further needs in future (growing house concept).
The launching was also attended by the representatives from Indonesian National Disaster Countermeasure Agency (BNPB).
Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat encouraged Indonesian community to give more assistance to Pakistan, as two brotherly Moslem countries
