World: Indian-born Neal Mohan has become the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) after Susan Wojcicki, who served as YouTube’s Chief Executive Officer for nine years, stepped down from her position.
The resigned Susan, 54, says that she wants to focus on her family, health, and personal life and that is why she is resigning from her post.
Susan said that when she started working at YouTube nine years ago, she built a great leadership team, and Neal Mohan was part of that team.
Neal Mohan’s studied electrical engineering at Stanford University and previously served as Chief Product Officer at Google. He previously worked at Microsoft and was on the boards of Stitch Fiz and 23andMe, a biotechnology company.
