The fact-finding committee said that the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs clearly delayed the deployment of additional forces in areas affected by anti-Muslim riots between 23 and 26 February 2020.
The committee added that the Delhi Police had received at least six alerts from the Special Branch and Intelligence units on February 23, but despite this, additional forces were belatedly deployed on February 26.
