PTI Senator Ali Zafar has announced that the party’s founder, Imran Khan, will lead the nationwide anti-government protest movement from jail, with all directives coming directly from him.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala jail in Rawalpindi on Saturday, Senator Ali Zafar confirmed that the PTI founder has officially announced the launch of an anti-government movement.
He clarified that Islamabad would not be the focal point of the protests; instead, demonstrations will be held across the entire country.
According to Ali Zafar, the party was left with no option but to come out onto the streets.
He emphasized that the PTI founder would lead the protest from prison and that all instructions regarding the movement will be issued by him.
Senator Zafar further revealed that he has been given the responsibility to prepare the plan for the protest movement. He said he would present this plan to the PTI founder during their next meeting.
