According to foreign media reports, the physical condition of a panda named NN in a theme park in Hong Kong was unhealthy for the past few weeks, due to which his health was deteriorating day by day.
The average age of this panda was 105 years in terms of human age.
The management of the park has expressed regret over the death of the panda, saying that it was a part of our family and the panda interacted well with tourists.
Born in the forest of Sichuan, “NN” arrived in Hong Kong with his partner “Jia Jia” in 1999 when the Chinese government gifted the couple to Hong Kong.
NN’s female companion, Panda Jaya Jaya, died in 2016 at the age of 38. This female panda also holds the distinction of being the oldest living female panda.
