Islamabad — Day 1 of the High-Level EU–Pakistan Business Forum commenced in Islamabad with strong participation from German diplomatic missions and industry representatives, underscoring growing economic engagement between Pakistan and Europe.
The event featured active involvement from the German Embassy Islamabad, the German Consulate General Karachi, and the AHK (German Chambers of Commerce Abroad), alongside a significant presence of German companies operating or exploring opportunities in Pakistan.
Organizers noted that the forum marks the culmination of months of preparation and serves as a key platform to connect policymakers, investors, and private sector leaders. The strong turnout reflected broad interest in strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties.
Speakers emphasized that the European Union remains Pakistan’s largest export destination, with Germany standing as its most important market within the bloc.
