The federal government has started negotiations with the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf regarding the long march, the second round of which will be held tomorrow.

According to the report of ARY News, the sources have said that the negotiations with the government representatives are taking place through close friends, in which President Arif Alvi is playing an important role.

According to the sources, efforts were made by the negotiators to find a middle way, but Chairman PTI Imran Khan is in favor of completing the long march.

The date of general elections is being discussed in the talks, the second round of talks will be held tomorrow.

It should be noted that the government has set up a 13-member committee headed by Home Minister Rana Sanaullah to negotiate with the PTI.

The committee also includes Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Mian Iftikhar, Maulana Asad and Maryam Aurangzeb along with Hanif Abbasi, Khalid Magsi, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Tariq Bashir Cheema.

In his statement, the Prime Minister said that our doors are always open for negotiations, democratic people are ready to negotiate, they will not allow anyone to take the law into their hands.

On the other hand, Tehreek-e-Insaf has set a condition for talks with the government. PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry says that they are ready for serious talks, but the first condition is that general elections should be announced and the time frame fixed.
