Government should declare AQ Khan’s death as national day: KATI

KARACHI – Korangi Association of Trade and Industry Patron-in-Chief SM Muneer, President Salman Aslam, CEO KITE Zubair Chhaya, Senior Vice President Maheen Salman, Vice President Syed Farrukh Ali Qandhari, Former Presidents/Chairmen and members of the Executive Council expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Mohsin-e-Pakistan and renowned scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan.

In his condolence statement, SM Muneer said that Dr. AQ Khan had made Pakistan invincible by making it a nuclear power for which the nation would always be grateful to him. SM Muneer said that Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan was a patriotic Pakistani who dedicated his life for the sake of the country and by making Pakistan the first nuclear power of the Muslim Ummah sent a message across that the enemy can not look down on Pakistan.

President KATI Salman Aslam said that the entire nation could not forget the services of the late AQ Khan. He is the hero and benefactor of the nation. He said that the demise of Dr. Abdul Qadir has caused irreparable damage to Pakistan as the people have lost a philanthropist who has always preferred Pakistan.

Salman Aslam said that the government should declare the death of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan a national day so that future generations would remember his services and his name would remain forever. President KATI prayed Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and that his soul may rest in peace.
