Government announces to officially celebrate month of Rabiul Awwal

Islamabad: Federal government on Saturday announced to officially celebrate the month of Rabiul Awwal.

In his Twitter post, Federal Minister for information and Broadcasting Fawad Ahmed Chaudhry said that month of Rabiul Awwal will be officially celebrated with religious zeal and fervour.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the International Rahmatul-lil-Alameen (S.A.W.W) Conference, the minister said.

On November 6, the federal government had announced to host 2-day Khatm-e-Nubuwwat (Peace Be Upon Him) International Conference in Islamabad on the account of Jashan-e-Eid Miladun Nabi.

The conference will be attended by Imam-e-Ka’aba, vice chancellor of Al-Azhar University, Mufti of Syria, and scholars from Iraq and Tunisia.

According to a statement issued from the PM Office media wing, the religious scholars attending the two-day conference will highlight different aspects of the holy life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
