The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah says that foreigners coming to Saudi Arabia on family visit visas will not be able to perform Hajj.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, a Hajj visa or a formal residence visa will be required to perform Hajj this year.

The ministry said that the rules and arrangements for Hajj would be announced under the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

The statement said that those who have come to the country on family visit visas will not be able to perform Hajj.
