The first All-Karachi Sami Dada (Late) Ramadan Floodlight Football Tournament has commenced in Mehmoodabad under the auspices of Mehmoodabad Green Football Club. A large number of football enthusiasts gathered to support the players.

Karachi – The first All-Karachi Sami Dada (Late) Ramadan Floodlight Football Tournament has commenced in Mehmoodabad under the auspices of Mehmoodabad Green Football Club. A large number of football enthusiasts gathered to support the players. The national anthem was played before the matches.
In the tournament’s opening match, Chanesar Blue secured a dominant 5-0 victory over Golden Star. In the second match, Clifton Shaheen edged past Drug Road United Football Club with a 3-2 win.
The chief guest for the first match, senior Pakistan People’s Party Karachi leader Muhammad Iqbal, inaugurated the tournament with a ceremonial kick-off. Before the second match, Chief Organizer Shehzad introduced the chief guests—Kifayatullah (PFF Congress Member), two-time gold medalist Saleem Patni, and Tasneem Ahmed Siddiqui—to the players and presented them with traditional Ajrak and floral bouquets.
The organizing committee members include Muhammad Saeed, Eric, Albert, Muhammad Nasir, Shehzad, Asif Hussain, Ashley Jani Dean, and Waqas Shaukat. A total of 32 teams are participating in the tournament, with two matches scheduled daily.
