KARACHI, April 25: A standout achievement marked the 12th Convocation Ceremony of Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Karachi, where Faseeha Ahmed secured a Silver Medal in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programme (Session 2021–2025) with an impressive CGPA of 3.87.

The convocation ceremony, held on April 25, 2026, celebrated the academic accomplishments of graduates across multiple disciplines and was attended by distinguished dignitaries from academia and the medical field.
Distinguished Guests and Addresses
The event was graced by Rector Bahria University Vice Admiral Abid Hameed and Vice Chancellor of Dow University of Health Sciences Professor Nazli Hussain as chief guests.
In his address, Vice Admiral Abid Hameed congratulated the graduates on their academic success and paid tribute to parents for their continuous support. He urged students to uphold integrity, pursue lifelong learning, and dedicate themselves to serving humanity.
Professor Nazli Hussain also lauded the graduates and their families, encouraging them to advance in their professional journeys with dedication, curiosity, and strong ethical values.
Academic Excellence Recognised
A total of 145 graduates were awarded degrees in programmes including MPhil, MBBS, BDS, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), BS Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT). High achievers were honoured with medals and certificates of merit for their exceptional academic performance.
Faseeha Ahmed’s recognition as a Silver Medalist in the DPT programme stood out as a notable achievement among this year’s graduates.
Role of Medical Institutions
Professor Nazli Hussain highlighted the contribution of the Pakistan Navy in advancing education and national development. She also acknowledged the role of BUHSCK, supported by PNS Shifa, as a leading institution for medical training and research in Pakistan.
Ceremony Conclusion
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Director General BUHSCK Vice Admiral (R) Ather Mukhtar presented commemorative souvenirs to the chief guests.
The event was attended by senior officials of Bahria University, representatives of the Pakistan Navy, and members of the medical, dental, and allied health sciences community.
