Karachi (Staff Reporter) – Founder of Pakistan Business Group and former Chairman of KATI, Faraz-ur-Rehman, has expressed his gratitude to Karachi Administrator Syed Murtaza Wahab for promptly addressing the severe traffic congestion at Sohrab Goth. He emphasized that traffic issues in Karachi are becoming increasingly critical and require immediate attention from the relevant authorities.
During the telephone conversation, other urban challenges were also discussed. Faraz-ur-Rehman highlighted that the situation at Sohrab Goth had reached an alarming level, making swift action imperative. Administrator Murtaza Wahab assured that efforts would be made to beautify the city’s entry points, completely eliminate encroachments, and resolve issues at Badi Chowrangi, which has significantly contributed to traffic congestion. He further stated that the matter would be discussed with the NLC to explore solutions, including reducing the size of the intersection.
Faraz-ur-Rehman expressed hope that similar proactive measures would continue to be taken to address Karachi’s infrastructural challenges, ensuring smoother traffic flow and restoring the city’s true identity.
