Karachi: The following members of Managing Committee, PTA (S.Z) Environmental Society were elected unopposed on 25th September, 2021: Gulzar Firoz, President, Rashid Zahur, Sr. Vice President, Abdullah Aman, Vice President, Rehan Hanna, General Secretary, UsmanUmer, Treasurer, Irfan Iqbal, Sh.M. Afzal Hussain, Waqas Shakil, Muhammad Shafi, Sh.M. Imran & Kamran Habib elected as Member Managing Committee.
The Gulzar Firoz (T.I) is former Chairman of Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) and Former Vice President of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI). He is also Former Chairman of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI). He has been also appointed as Member of Board of Directors Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) from private sector in the Cabinet meeting held on 22nd May 2018 presided by the Honourable Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
The inclusion of Gulzar Firoz in PTA (S.Z) Environmental Society is likely to impact positively on Pakistan leather industry in particular and other industries in general. He also said Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) expressed his satisfaction on successful participation of Pakistan.
