Karachi: Tuesday, 5 th September, 2023 Dr. Saad Niaz, the Health Minister of Sindh, officially opened The Kidney Centre’s (TKC) Free
Filter Clinic today. This new facility is dedicated to offering free consultation, laboratory tests,
and ultrasound services to patients suffering from kidney and bladder diseases. For those in
need of further medical assessments, referrals to consulting clinics will be provided for
comprehensive treatment. The Free Filter Clinic stands as a testament to TKC’s commitment to
providing accessible healthcare services to the community.
During the ceremony, Dr. Saad Niaz praised TKC for its commitment to making healthcare
accessible to underprivileged members of the community. He also acknowledged TKC’s
remarkable 38-year legacy in providing high-quality care to individuals suffering from renal
diseases. Notably, over the past year, the Patient Welfare Programme at TKC extended financial
assistance to over 100,000 patients.
Mrs. Marriana Karim, Chairman of the Board of Governors, and Dr. Rashid Jooma, Chief
Executive Officer, expressed their gratitude to Dr. Saad Niaz for his visit to TKC and his role in
inaugurating the Free Filter Clinic. The inauguration ceremony was attended by TKC
management and members of the Board of Governors.
