Karachi: UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 the Ministry of Presidential Affairs announced.

His Highness wholeheartedly devoted himself both to the service of his country and to the promotion of peace in the region.
They prayed that Almighty Allah may rest the deceased soul in peace, and give the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and give courage to the deceased family to bear this loss. May Allah rest his soul in peace. May Allah give Patience to his family to bear the irreparable loss, Aameen.
He was born in 1948, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan served as the 2nd President of the UAE since November 3, 2004 and 16th Ruler of Abu Dhabi. He was the eldest son of Sheikh Zayed. He was Chosen to succeed his father, the late His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who served as the UAE’s first president since the union in 1971 until his died on November 2, 2004.
