Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Asif Hyder Shah visits the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, ahead of the World Culture Festival 2026.
Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Asif Hyder Shah visited the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, on Sunday, October 11, 2026. He toured the Council’s facilities and met President Mohammad Ahmed Shah.
During the visit, the Arts Council president briefed Shah on the Council’s activities and facilities. They also discussed further support from the Sindh Government for the upcoming World Culture Festival – Karachi 2026.
The festival will run from October 29 to November 22, 2026. It will bring artists and cultural communities together in Karachi. The event will also provide a platform for cultural exchange and artistic collaboration.

The meeting focused on strengthening government support for the festival. Both sides discussed ways to facilitate the event and support its preparations.
