Karachi: The Consumers Association of Pakistan (CAP) extends its sincere and warm congratulations to Mr. Javed Alam Odho on assuming charge as Inspector General of Police, Sindh.

On behalf of CAP, Kaukab Iqbal, Chairman, expressed that Mr. Odho’s appointment to this prestigious position is a well?deserved recognition of his distinguished career, administrative competence, and meritorious services to law enforcement.

CAP also places on record its deep appreciation for Mr. Odho’s commendable contributions during his tenure as Additional Inspector General of Police, noting his focused and result?oriented efforts in crime control, maintenance of public order, and strengthening traffic enforcement mechanisms. His leadership has been instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency, enforcing traffic discipline, and improving public trust in policing institutions—efforts widely acknowledged by citizens and civil society organizations.

Mr. Iqbal further stated that Mr. Odho’s professional approach, commitment to the rule of law, and emphasis on accountability and public service have set high standards within the police force. CAP is confident that under his capable leadership as IGP Sindh, the province will witness further strengthening of law enforcement, improved governance, and enhanced public safety.

On this auspicious occasion, CAP also extends its best wishes for the New Year, hoping it brings Mr. Odho continued success, good health, and further achievements in the discharge of his official responsibilities.

These congratulations and good wishes are conveyed on behalf of the Managing Committee and the Women Wing of the Consumers Association of Pakistan.
