OMAN : The use of artificial cosmetic procedures like Botox to enhance beauty is no longer limited to humans, but now various cosmetic procedures are also being used to enhance the beauty of camels. According to international media reports, a camel beauty contest was held in Muscat, the capital of Oman, where several camels were disqualified from the competition because their owners had given them Botox injections to artificially enhance their beauty. The report states that about 20 camels were disqualified from the beauty pageant for receiving Botox injections. It is worth mentioning here that the organization that organizes camel beauty contests in Arab countries has strictly banned the use of such artificial methods to make camels look good, which is why such incidents have occurred in Saudi Arabia in the past. It should be noted that in the Arab and Gulf states, camels are considered a symbol of honor and dignity. Camel beauty contests are held regularly there, and in this regard, a camel beauty contest was recently held in Oman.
