Head of the Interfaith Harmony and Dialogue Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hojatul-Islam Mohammad Mahdi Emanipour in his official statement said that once again, evil actors, with the support of the so-called pro-human liberty governments, have descended on the desecration of Islamic sanctities.
This time we saw the scene of burning the hearts of millions of Muslims by desecrating the Holy Quran in front of the Turkish Embassy in Sweden. This is not the first time that Sweden has become the center of a diabolical game against Islam and Muslims.
The Holy Quran is of great importance and respect in the eyes of Muslims, because it is the most sacred religious book and one of the greatest heavenly gifts that the Messenger of Allah Hazarat Muhammad (PBUH) bestowed to the Muslims.

Muslims live and die with the Quran. Through the Qur’an, Muslims grow up and return to God in the shadow of the Qur’an. The Holy Qur’an is the life-line for Muslims. That means the holy Quran is the utmost guideline for humanity in both life and after life.
Muslims all over the world recite the verses of the Holy Quran day and night. We pray to God through this heavenly book and always express our love for this great book with sanctity and reverence and live our lives under the guidance of this book. Injuring the hearts of Muslims through such vile acts under the pretext of freedom of expression is a sign of low nature.
Muslims who have always respected other religions and their sacred relics and places of worship, today are subjected to this heinous humiliation that caused their outrageous protests all over the world.
It is not a hidden matter that such extremist satanic behavior seriously harms the peaceful religious coexistence as well as darkening the atmosphere of dialogue and interaction between religions and civilizations.
As the head of the Interfaith Harmony and Dialogue Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I strongly condemn the heart aching heinous act of anti-Islamic elements through desecration of the Holy Quran.
The least expectation of the followers of the Holy Quran from the leaders and elites of different religions and the intellectuals of the world, especially the people of the Western Europe and North America, is that they should declare clearly their detachment from the game that has been played against the Muslims for many years, in the name of freedom of expression, based on anti-Islamism and utter contempt of Islamic sanctities.
We pray to Allah Almighty that He may not take us away from His pleasure and mercy and love.
