Bukhari Group Holds Online Session with Ethiopian Embassy to Explore Trade Opportunities

Bukhari Group held an extraordinary online session with the leadership of the Ethiopian diplomatic mission in Pakistan to explore new opportunities for bilateral trade and investment.

The session was attended by Dr. Oumer Hussein Oba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Pakistan, and Ibrahim Khalid Tawab, Honorary Consul General of Ethiopia in Karachi.

Senior officials from the Ethiopian Embassy and Consulate also participated in the session.

Vice Chairman Sardar Zubair, Global CEO Hafeez Qureshi, and Chief Commercial Officer Sayed Muhammad Tariq also represented the group.

The participants discussed ways to strengthen economic engagement between Pakistan and Ethiopia.

The discussion focused on developing a practical roadmap to explore untapped bilateral trade and investment potential.

Participants exchanged views on priority sectors and regulatory facilitation. They also discussed opportunities for business-to-business matchmaking.

The session highlighted the importance of stronger private-sector engagement between the two countries.

Both sides expressed a shared commitment to move beyond dialogue and pursue practical business opportunities.

The participation of the Ethiopian Ambassador and Honorary Consul General also highlighted the diplomatic mission’s engagement with the initiative.
