Barcelona, Spain : The EU Pak Friendship Federation Spain organized a large-scale celebration titled “Jashan-e-Marka-e-Haq” to mark the completion of the first anniversary of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and the 2025 conflict referred to as Marka-e-Haq.
The event in Barcelona drew one of the largest gatherings of overseas Pakistanis in Europe, along with members of the Kashmiri community and participants from Arab countries. Thousands attended, creating a strong display of cultural unity and patriotic sentiment.
Participants carried Pakistani and Kashmiri flags and displayed portraits of Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. The gathering echoed with slogans such as “Pakistan Zindabad,” “Pakistan Army Zindabad,” and tributes to the military leadership.
Dr. Perveiz Iqbal Lohsar, Chairman of EU Pak Friendship Federation Europe (Tamgha-i-Khidmat), attended as chief guest and addressed the ceremony. He stated that Pakistan’s armed forces responded effectively to Indian aggression in 2025 and demonstrated strong operational capability and preparedness under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
He praised the Pakistan Air Force for its performance and claimed it successfully countered hostile action, while also commending the Pakistan Navy for maintaining strong maritime deterrence and keeping adversarial forces at distance.
Dr. Lohsar emphasized that Pakistan continues to advocate peace in the region but remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity against any future threat.
The event was presided over by Kamran Khan, President of EU Pak Friendship Federation Spain. Notable participation was also recorded from Syed Qasim Sajjad Shah, President of EU Pak Friendship Federation Portugal, and Raja Hasnain of Tehreek Azadi-e-Kashmir.
Organizing committee members included several community leaders from across Pakistan’s diaspora in Europe, representing different regional and cultural backgrounds.
The ceremony concluded with expressions of unity, solidarity, and renewed commitment among overseas Pakistanis toward Pakistan and Kashmir.
