Artisans in Bloom Showcases Women’s Craft and Entrepreneurship in Hyderabad
One-day exhibition and training programme brings women artisans and entrepreneurs together at Hyderabad Gymkhana

Women artisans showcase traditional handicrafts at Artisans in Bloom in Hyderabad.
HYDERABAD, October 3, 2026: The Artisans in Bloom – Women Artisans & Entrepreneurs Exhibition and Training Programme was successfully held at Hyderabad Gymkhana, bringing together talented women artisans, craftswomen and entrepreneurs from different regions.
The one-day programme was organised in collaboration with the Handicrafts Association of Pakistan (HAP) and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI). The event aimed to promote women’s entrepreneurship while providing greater exposure to Pakistan’s traditional and contemporary handicrafts.
Women Artisans Showcase Traditional Crafts
Women participants displayed a diverse range of handmade products during the exhibition.
The stalls featured handcrafted garments, handmade jewellery, blue pottery, Ajrak and block prints, marble art and other traditional and modern handicrafts.
Visitors and participants appreciated the creativity and craftsmanship on display. The exhibition also provided artisans with an opportunity to introduce their products to potential customers and business contacts.
TDAP Conducts Business Training Session
A special training session by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) was also held as part of the programme.
The session provided women artisans and entrepreneurs with practical guidance on business development, marketing strategies and potential market opportunities.
The training component complemented the exhibition by helping participants understand ways to develop their businesses and reach wider markets.
HAP Leadership Supports Women Entrepreneurs
Akif Amir, Vice President of the Handicrafts Association of Pakistan, attended the programme and encouraged the participating women artisans.
Asma Wajid and Shaista Kausar, along with other distinguished guests and women entrepreneurs, also participated in the event.
The programme was organised and coordinated by Asma Amir and Naheed Masud, whose efforts contributed to its successful execution.
Platform for Business Growth and Networking
Artisans in Bloom provided women with a platform to showcase their skills, promote handmade products and establish new business connections.
The programme also highlighted the potential of Pakistan’s handicraft sector to create economic opportunities for women while preserving the country’s cultural heritage.
By combining an exhibition with business training and networking, the event sought to help women artisans move beyond showcasing their products and explore opportunities for sustainable business growth.
The programme celebrated women’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit while highlighting the value of Pakistan’s diverse traditional craftsmanship.
