Army will perform duty as Quick Reaction Force on election day: ISPR
The ISPR says that on the day of the by-elections, the troops of the Pakistan Army will perform duty only as a quick reaction force.
According to ISPR, army personnel will be responsible for maintaining law and order during polling.
It should be noted that the by-election in 20 constituencies of Punjab will be held on Sunday, July 17. These seats were vacant in the Punjab Assembly due to defection of defected members of Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
