Karachi (Business Reporter) A community awareness seminar titled “Save Lives, Fight Drugs” was organized at the Russian Center of Science and Culture (Friendship House), with the aim of combating drug abuse through education and public involvement. Brigadier Muhammad Umar Farooq, Regional Director of Anti-Narcotics Force Sindh, served as the chief guest, emphasizing the role of communities in prevention and early intervention.
He said that together we must protect our youth from this growing menace. The host of the event and FPCCI Convener Ms. Zahra Zahid opened the session with an emphasis on community empowerment. Other notable speakers included Mr. Abdul Salam Dadabhai, Mr. Atif Iqbal, and Mr. Mohsin-ul-Mulk Miran Haider, each of whom emphasized education, social responsibility, and a united front against drugs. Mr. Ruslan M.Prokhorov, Director of the Culture Center, also appreciated the event. We should all together fight with this to save our youth free our youth from drugs. The event was organized by Mr. Shaukat Jilani (FPCCI) in collaboration with Ms. Sadaf Jan (RCK Greenways Club) and Russian Center of Science and Culture.
The participants included academicians, youth and civil society representatives. The session ended with tea and emphasis on continuing the awareness efforts.
