An important meeting was held today, Thursday, 20 November 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peoples Secretariat, under the chairmanship of Ms. Shahida Rehmani, MNA and President PPP Women Wing Karachi Division, regarding preparations for the 58th Foundation Day of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
The meeting was attended by Deputy General Secretary Ms. Asma Hassan, Information Secretary Ms. Musarat Niazi, Spokesperson of Sindh Government and Deputy Information Secretary Syeda Tehseen Abidi, along with all District Presidents, General Secretaries, and Information Secretaries of the Karachi Division.
During the meeting, participants paid tribute to Shaheed Leader Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who gave the nation the historic 1973 Constitution, leaving an enduring legacy in Pakistan’s democratic history.
The meeting also remembered with deep respect the remarkable struggle and sacrifices of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto for democracy and the rights of the people.
Furthermore, the meeting recognized and praised Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s strong and clear support for the 27th Constitutional Amendment, passed by the federal government. Participants acknowledged this support as a significant step towards the establishment of constitutional courts, strengthening the justice delivery system, and reinforcing democratic institutions in the country.
Key decisions were finalized regarding arrangements, participation, organizational responsibilities, and coordination for the Foundation Day event.
Chairing the session, Ms. Shahida Rehmani stated that the Pakistan Peoples Party has always been at the forefront of promoting the mission of its martyrs and strengthening the political and social role of women, and the 58th Foundation Day will serve as a renewed affirmation of the Party’s ideology and commitment to public service.
