America has announced to give another 10 million dollars to Pakistan for food security program.
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with his American counterpart Antony Blanken in Washington, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while holding a joint press conference with his American counterpart after the meeting, said that diplomacy has returned again.


He said that he wants help and cooperation from America on environmental justice, it is time for green revolution and he hopes that President Joe Biden will lead it.
During the press conference Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also invited his American counterpart Antony Blanken to visit Pakistan.
On this occasion, US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken said that this is a very difficult moment for Pakistan.
He further said that we are with Pakistanis in this difficult moment, aid has been sent in 17 planes for the flood victims, 10 million more dollars will be given for the food security program.
US Secretary of State said that Pakistan-US economic relations can be further strengthened.
Earlier, in a meeting with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, US Secretary of State Antony Blanken expressed regret over the devastation caused by floods in Pakistan and assured all possible support from the US.
On this occasion, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari thanked the American government for helping the flood victims.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was accompanied by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar and Ambassador of Pakistan Masood Khan.
It should be noted that in Washington, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also met the delegation of Medicines San Frontier (MSF) and Doctors Without Borders.
On this occasion, the head of the delegation, General Director Vicky Hawken, expressed deep sorrow over the flood disasters, while Bilawal Bhutto appreciated the role of MSF in providing health facilities to the flood victims.
