Accommodating environment disable persons is responsibility the state: Samina Alvi

ISLAMABAD – First Lady Begum Samina Arif Alvi says provision of accommodating environment to persons with disabilities is the collective responsibility of the state and society.

Addressing an event in Islamabad on Saturday, she said such people need utmost care and a welcoming attitude, beginning right from their homes and families.

Stressing on mainstreaming of the disabled, the First Lady emphasised on giving practical skill-set to persons with disabilities to ensure their financial independency.
