Karachi (11-05-2023) Former President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), President United Business Group (UBG) Zubair Tufail and Secretary General UBG (Sindh Zone) Hanif Gohar on behalf of Karachi Police arrested Chinese residents in Malir. He has paid tribute to the police department for foiling the attack attempt. In this operation, a terrorist was killed who was allegedly wearing a suicide jacket.
According to the statement issued by the Central spokesperson of United Business Group Gulzar Feroze, UBG Leaders Zubair Tufail and Hanif Gohar said that in the past also in Karachi. Efforts were made to affect foreign investment, but due to the timely action of the police, the terrorists were not only brought under control, but also brought to hell, and the successful police action of the previous day further strengthened the friendship between Pakistan and China. It will be strengthened and confidence will increase. It should be clear that according to the police officials, the terrorist wanted to target the foreigners living in the Pakistan China Shipyard, however, the police were stationed around the yard on secret information, the terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire. A police constable was killed while a police constable was also injured. The terrorist had reached here via the canal and was trying to enter the ship repair facility. He said that in the past several attempts were made to sabotage the joint Pak-China project “CPEC”, but he paid tribute to the Chinese government for continuing the project.


Zubair Tufail and Hanif Gohar said that due to the ongoing unstable political situation in the country, the enemies of Pakistan get opportunities to act, but since the police and rangers are active and the terrorists are failing, such actions may affect foreign investment in the future. Therefore, security should be tightened at the entrance and exit points throughout the city so that the terrorist elements cannot succeed in their nefarious intentions.
