Noted businessman Saifuddin Sheikh joins PTS.

(February 23-2023) A leading businessman Saif Uddin Sheikh has joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Shadbad (PTS) as President of Sindh province.  
The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Shadbad Dr. Hanif Mughal has issued a notification
in this regard.
 
At the occasion, Dr. Hanif Mughal said that PTS is a new political party focusing on
health, education, justice and employment.
 
He said that Saif Uddin Sheikh has an impressive profile and he wants to serve the
masses therefore he has been given the responsibility.
 
He added that we hope Saif Uddin Sheikh will try his best to give a boost to our
initiatives through his skills and efforts.
 
At the occasion, Saif Uddin Sheikh said that he wants to serve the masses selflessly as we
have a moral obligation towards this noble purpose.
 
He said that we should try to help people get health, education and justice and discharge
our responsibilities with utmost sincerity.
 
Politicians are responsible for fulfilling the needs and aspirations of their constituents
through impactful policy.
 
They should effectively engage with their constituents and prioritise the issues most
impacting their communities, he added.
 
He said that gas and power tariffs have been revised upward as per the agreement with
the IMF to prevent further accumulation of circular debt and ensure the viability of the
energy sector.
 
However, structural reforms remain pending in the energy sector, taxation and other
sectors.
Sheikh is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA), he is
a Chartered Global Management Accountant from the US, CEO of Ajwa Super Marts and
Appolo Electric and Executive Director of Pakistan Economy Watch.
