How much money will the T20 World Cup playing teams get?
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the prize money for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.
According to ICC, the winning team of T20 World Cup will get 1.6 million US dollars while the runners-up team will get 8 million US dollars.
The losing teams in the semi-finals of the World Cup will receive four million US dollars.
Each win in the Super 12 stage will get 40,000 US dollars, while the eight teams out of this stage will get 70,70,000 US dollars.
ICC says that there are 30 matches in this phase.
According to ICC, each team that is knocked out in the first round will get 40 thousand US dollars.
The total prize pool for the T20 World Cup is $5.6 million.
It should be noted that the T20 World Cup will start from October in Australia.
