Mehfil-e-Milad held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington DC

WASHINGTON – To celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), a solemn ceremony of Mehfil-e-Milad was held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington DC.

Mrs. Saira Siddiqui, wife of Ambassador Ali J. Siddiqui welcomed all the participants and reflected upon the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

While speaking on the occasion, she said we are all fortunate to have the remarkable example of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), for his exemplary statesmanship, religious leadership, tremendous wisdom, and also the love, tolerance, and respect that he showed towards all people. She prayed that the spirit of humanity, mercy and compassion, which the Holy Prophet (PBUH) preached, provide everlasting guidance and happiness to all people.
