Karachi: Sartoria Di Ambassador, and Board of Members Rotary Club of Karachi Platinum Sarfraz Akbar strongly condemned the rising inflation due to the appreciation of the dollar and expressed his views that the Government of Pakistan. The Federal budget will have to provide relief to the people who are struggling for their children and for a better future for their children.
However, Sarfraz Akbar further said that Pakistanis should stand together in this difficult time and the government should adopt a good strategy for those working on daily wages and bring back the flight of dollars so that inflation is not on the head of the people. To carry the burden of necessities and make the essentials available to the people, Finance Minister Miftah Ismail presented the federal budget of Rs. 95.2 trillion for the financial year 23-2022. The total expenditure of the federal government in the financial year 23-2022 is estimated at Rs. 9,502 billion. 530 billion has been allocated for pensions and Rs. 65 billion has been allocated for HEC. The share of provinces in revenue has been Rs. 3512 billion.
The non-tax revenue of the federation is expected to be Rs. 1315 billion for the current financial year while the total expenditure of the federation for the current financial year will be Rs. 9118 billion. The expenditure of Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) will be Rs 550 billion this financial year.
