The government has increased the price of government flour at utility stores. The price of a 20 kg bag of flour has been increased by Rs. 180.
According to reports, the price of a 20 kg bag of flour has gone up from Rs 800 to Rs 980.
In Karachi, mill flour is being sold at Rs. 100 per kg, fine flour at Rs.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in his address to the nation yesterday said that utility stores have been asked to provide a 10 kg bag of flour for Rs. 400.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also announced an additional Rs 2,000 per month under the Benazir Income Support Program to save the poor from inflation.
