Opposition Set Date For A No-Confidence Motion Against The Government

Opposition leaders gathered at Zardari House on the issue of no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to details, the no-confidence motion against the government was taken up by the leaders of the opposition (former president Asif Ali Zardari, opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif and PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman) at Zardari House where no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister or the Speaker National Assembly. Various legal and constitutional options were considered in this regard.

The meeting was attended by former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Syed Naveed Qamar, Khurshid Shah and Murtaza Wahab, while former PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal and Rana Sanaullah Khan, Khawaja Asif, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafique and Maryam Aurangzeb were also present.

Legal experts from the three major opposition parties briefed the leaders on the legal issues related to the motion of no-confidence against the Prime Minister. The meeting reviewed the government members who supported the success of the no-confidence motion.

Later, the inside story of the meeting of the three leaders of the opposition came to light. Opposition leaders in the meeting finalized the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister and the Speaker.

Sources said that the opposition leaders have prepared a special plan for the security of the angry members of the opposition and the government.

According to sources, special guards of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Ansar-ul-Islam will protect the members of the assembly and it has been decided to keep the members in one place to avoid any government action while all the parliamentary leaders provide security to the members of their party. And make special arrangements for accommodation.
