LAHORE: In a viral video, Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PMLQ) leader Tariq Bashir Cheema has raised serious concerns over interference of Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar in Punjab.
According to the video, PMLQ’s Cheema along with Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi called on Pakistan Tehrik I Insaf (PTI)’s Jehangir Tareen.
During the meeting, Cheema was asking Tareen to control Sarwar as he will not let Chief Minister continue.
He said, “Control Sarwar. He will not let your Chief Minister continue”.
Speaker PA Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi also supported the concern of Cheema by adding, “Control Him”.
On the other hand, Speaker Pervaiz Elahi while addressing a press conference observed that Cheema had reservation over interference in his constitutency therefore raising concern was a routine matter.
He added that if concerns are not removed, the differences are usually shown in secret balloting.
