A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the London College of Online Learning and the Sindh Board of Technical Education for cooperation and collaboration. On this occasion Secretary SBTE, Alia Fatima, and Regional Director, LCOOL, Syed Amjad Hussain signed the agreement.
According to the agreement, both the institutions will provide the benefit to students to get foreign education certification in Pakistan and promote online educational programs.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman SBTE Dr. Masroor Shaikh said that Online education is the future and we are promoting links with other international universities so that our students will avail better employment opportunities in the country and abroad.
On the occasion, Director LCOOL, Syed Amjad Hussain said that we are promoting online training and development in the field of Information Technology and Management and today the world has been transformed due to the Covid situation.
He appreciated Dr. Masroor Shaikh and his team’s efforts to realize the importance of online learning. This MOU will help us to work closely to achieve the common goal. Together we will bridge the gap between education and quality education in Pakistan, he concluded.
Secretary, Ms.Alia Fatima assured her full cooperation for promoting online programs and the MOU between us would further enhance the educational ties with the developing countries.
SBTE has taken significant steps to improve the standard of our registered /affiliated institutions and export skilled labor force from Pakistan.SBTE senior leadership including Controller of Examination, Gul Muhammad Khand, and Head of IT, Syed Mansoor Ahmed have also attended the signing ceremony, While Syed Naveed Haider, Syed Naeem Ahmed Naqvi, and Tahir Habib also speak on this occasion.
