KARACHI -The meeting of Abbasi Kalhora Women’s Organization was hosted by Benazir Abbasi Advocate in collaboration with Farzana Abbasi at a local hotel in Karachi. Mian Jahangir Abbasi, Sajjad Abbasi, Nau Sijj Editor-in-Chief Zahida Abbasi, Rubina Nazir Kalhora, Aziza Hina Abbasi, Zubeida Abbasi, Shahid Hussain Kalhora, Shahjahan Abbasi, Abdul Ghani Abbasi, Huma Abbasi and Journalist Zia Qureshi and others participated. On the occasion, Daily Nau Sijj editor Zahida Abbasi said, “I am a villager and the first woman from the village to get an education. Matric came to my grandfather to marry nanny but my father supported me and said first education then other problems would be solved. She said: “Education has given me confidence, after which every person has an ocean inside us and has different ideas. Rubina Nazir Kalhora said: I love villages and Abbasi Kalhoras because of being from Agha tribe. Take the time to read and study, and today my dream of being a child is gone.
Rabia Kalhora said: “I made great sacrifices for education. I am the first girl from the community to have done CSS. I am also a Gold Medalist. Ricky has given priority to education. Aziza Abbasi said that what Shah Abdul Latif has said is a message for us, we should move forward.
Shahid Kalhora said that our community wants young girls to come forward and be adorned with education. Jahangir Kalhora, Gaddi Nasheen of Adam Shah Kalhora and Divisional President of Anjan Abbasi said that we are the servants of Adam Shah Kalhora. The tendency to educate girls is low, the woman should be educated and the whole family should be educated and capable, otherwise more thinking will flourish.
Huma Kalhora said that in the past during the Kalhora period there was great development in Sindh but we should not give personal identity to anyone but if a woman takes credit then she should be encouraged or if there is personal struggle then it should be highlighted. Javed Kalhoro Advocate said that there is a gap of unity among Kalhoras. We are lagging behind in smart education and we are full of hatred.
Journalist Zia Qureshi said that Shah Latif in his poetry has talked about the progress and prosperity of women and in his poetry has highlighted the heroes of Sindh. Those who strive for education and development. At the end of the day, Benazir was also given a certificate of recognition and an award for her outstanding services in her field.
