Karachi: A comprehensive presentation on Character Education in thru Quran was given by the Founder and Chairman of the Character Education Foundation (CEF) Honourable Mehmood Ahmed on Friday 8th October 2021 at Union Cooperative Club, Karachi.
It was hosted by Muhammad Farooq Afzal as the Ambassador of the CEF Karachi/ CEO of ITN Group of Companies and Mahmood Ahmad Khan CEO of Star Marketing Expo/ MD Sun Builder & Developer. The Guest of Honour was Former KCCI President Shamim Firpo.
Farooq Afzal said the lifetime devotion and dedication of Mehmood Ahmed. He also said AJK, KPK, and Punjab Assemblies have passed the bill and made a law to implement the curriculum and books of Character Education Foundation (CEF) to be taught from classes 1 to 5. Now our children will learn Quran with translation and this would help our next generation to build the character along with the education, In Shaa Allah!
The purpose of the event was to create awareness of the cause and seek moral and financial support which is needed to train teachers and to publish books to be given to the deserving schools free of cost.
On this occasion, Honourable Mehmood Ahmed and Shamim Firpo presented a shield to the Muhammad Farooq Afzal along with Mahmood Ahmad Khan, Zahid Saeed Managing Director of Indus Pharma, and General Secretary of Karachi Union of Journalists Faheem Siddiqui.
In the end, Farooq Afzal said May Allah SWT give long life to Mehmood Ahmed and showers his countless blessings upon him, Aameen Sum Aameen.
