Karachi: Consul General of Republic of Korea in Karachi, Mr. Bongsu Park hosted a dinner reception to celebrate National Foundation Day of Republic of Korea at local hotel.
Mr. Agha Sirraj Durrani, Speaker Sindh Assembly, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Senior Minister of Sindh for Works and Services too graced the occasion of the reception. The function was a memorable evening.
Consul General Korea, welcoming all of the guests, speaking on the Occasion , Mr. Bongsu Park said, It is my great honor to be with you at a reception celebrating our National Day this evening and I am pleased to have you all here. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1983, Pakistan and the Republic of Korea have maintained close relations in many areas, He highlighted that, The bilateral trade recorded last year was worth more than US$ 1.3 billion and I am confident that the relationship between the two countries will grow strong in the coming years, bringing or nations closer in pursuit of mutual goals and strengthen the 35 years long diplomatic relationship between Pakistan and the Republic of Korea, Distinguished guest, Once again, I thank you all for celebrating this occasion of National Day with us.
Korean artistes performed a traditional dance which was well appreciated by the audience
The reception was largly attended by diplomats, high government officials, Korean Nationals based in
Karachi, journalists and elite of the city.
