KARACHI – Talented duo Armeena Khan and Sharaz Ali have teamed up with award-winning British film-maker Michael Hudson for their upcoming short film.
The new short film’s working title is “The Interpreter”. It is now in pre-production and is going to be on the floor by the end of this year. Details of the latest film’s plot have not yet been unveiled, though it has been revealed it will focus on a social issue.
The pair have recently garnered praise from filmmakers and producers for their short film, “Snapshot”, which has been selected by the L.A Lift-Off Film Festival and the Gold Movie Awards. Snapshot, which marks Armeena’s debut as a co-producer, is due to soon be publicly available online.
Despite branching into production, Armeena has remained a versatile actress in Pakistan’s film and drama industry, with outstanding projects such as “Bin Roye”, “Janaan” and “Daldal” to her credit.
