NEWS DESK – In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, health experts have warned that in the wake of stepped-up Indian state terrorism, the number of mental patients with growing suicide tendency is increasing manifold with each passing day.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the experts said that the number of patients with psychological disorders witnessed an alarming increase since the imposition of strict military siege in the occupied territory by Modi government on August 05, 2019.
The members of the socio-religious umbrella organization, Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, deplored that due to the prevailing unfavorable conditions in the territory, people from all walks of life including youth, children, elderly and women are suffering from nervous breakdown and mental stress.
Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza urged the leadership of India and Pakistan to hold serious and sincere talks to resolve the dispute.
A delegation of Hurriyat leaders led by Mushtaqul Islam said that just and amicable solution to the Kashmir problem is the only way forward.
Meanwhile, Indian media reported that two explosions took place at Indian Air Force Station at Jammu airport, today. Defense experts ridiculed Indian media reports that drones were used to carry out the attack.
A Kashmiri youth was found dead in mysterious conditions in Indian city of Chandigarh. Hundreds of people gathered in his native Sopore town to attend his last rites.
