JUW Students Visit Sindh Assembly for Session on Women in Diplomacy

JUW International Relations students visit the Sindh Assembly for a session on women in foreign policy and diplomacy.
Students from the Department of International Relations at Jinnah University for Women (JUW) visited the Sindh Assembly for an interactive session on “Women in Foreign Policy and Diplomacy.”
The students met MPA Dr Fouzia Hameed, who spoke about the growing role of women in foreign policy and diplomacy.
She also discussed women’s participation in governance and political representation. The session highlighted the importance of greater opportunities for women in public affairs.
The discussion concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session. Students shared their views and raised questions about women’s role in national and international affairs.

During the visit, the students toured both the old and new buildings of the Sindh Assembly.

They learned about the history of the provincial legislature. They also gained an understanding of its functioning and role in Sindh’s governance.
The visit gave the students an opportunity to connect their academic studies with practical exposure to Pakistan’s political and legislative institutions.
