Sindh Governor Nehal Hashmi meets Pakistan American Cultural Center President Syed Makhdoom Ali Riaz at Governor House
KARACHI: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met a delegation led by Syed Makhdoom Ali Riaz, President of the Pakistan American Cultural Center, at Governor House Karachi.
The meeting focused on strengthening Pakistan-US cultural ties, expanding mutual cooperation and promoting cultural activities between the two countries.
Governor Nehal Hashmi said there was a need to further strengthen cultural links between the people of Pakistan and the United States.
He said cultural exchanges play an important role in bringing people of both countries closer and creating greater mutual understanding.
Cultural Cooperation Discussed
Syed Makhdoom Ali Riaz briefed the Sindh governor on the Pakistan American Cultural Center’s cultural activities, ongoing initiatives and efforts to promote cultural engagement.
The discussion also covered opportunities to expand cultural programmes and cooperation aimed at strengthening people-to-people relations between Pakistan and the United States.
The Governor House has regularly hosted meetings involving cultural, diplomatic, business and community representatives as part of broader engagement on social and cultural issues.

Delegation Expresses Condolences
During the meeting, members of the Pakistan American Cultural Center delegation also expressed their condolences to Governor Nehal Hashmi over the death of his father-in-law.
They conveyed their heartfelt sympathies to the governor and his family and prayed for the departed soul.
